Good Foods – Tuna – Protein

We aren’t talking about guitar tuners here but rather some of John West’s best! Tuna is a great source of protein as well as the other minerals Magnesium, Potassium, Phosphorus, Selenium and Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Omega 3 helps your brain and heart function and has even helped people with inflammatory issues such as arthritis. On top of these wholesome minerals, Tuna also boasts a collection of B vitamins such as B1, B3, B6 and B12 which all help boost your energy whilst fighting stress and helping your body’s immune system. Tuna makes a great snack and can be very easy to prepare! Either buy the cans (careful of fatty oils) from the super market for a quick bite or cook up a tuna steak with a bit of salad for a light, healthy meal!
