If it comes from the sea (and it’s not deep fried) there is a good chance it is pretty good for you and Prawns are no exception! In fact these little orange buggers are damn good for you! They contain the Vitamins B3, B12 and D but it is the massive amount of minerals that make it stand out. Prawns contain the minerals Magnesium, Potassium, Zinc (these last 3 are all needed to keep your nervous system healthy), Iron, Phosphorus, Selenium, Copper, Iodine (needed for your thyroid hormone production), Protein as well as Omega 3 fatty acids. Oh, and to top it all off Prawns also taste great and go together really well with a nice salad!
